Meet the therapist...

​

Caroline Lowe has worked therapeutically with children, adolescents and their families for many years.  She is a skilled play therapist and has over 14 years of clinical experience working in schools (primary and secondary); Children's Services and a specialist trauma informed CAMHS service for children who are looked after.    Caroline offers play therapy and talking therapy, therapeutic life story work and filial therapy .  Caroline draws upon her clinical expertise and knowledge of child development + child mental health to guide her therapeutic practice.

 

Caroline's specialist interest is helping children to successfully manage/regulate their difficult feelings (and behaviour) at home and school.  Caroline believes in teaching children the practical tools they need to calm down and feel 'just right' within themselves (balancing mind/body). 

 

Over the years Caroline has helped many children cope with their anxieties, fears, depression, anger, bereavement, loss, sexual abuse, childhood trauma and more...

Caroline holds a valid enhanced DBS and last completed her statutory safeguarding training in 2024.
